Application of the Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy applies to the gathering, use and protection of personal information collected from individuals while using Taiwan Police Services (TPS) & 110 Video Call developed by the National Police Agency of Ministry of the Interior.
Gathering of personal information
Your information will be collected based on the service you request. You will be asked to provide your name, mobile phone number and GPS information while making 110 calls/110 video calls. All information concerning your use of the app will be recorded, including IP address, time of usage and functions.
The use of information gathered
Information gathered from users, including name, mobile phone number and GPS location, will serve as a reference for the police. All information collected from users without prior permission, e.g. IP addresses, usage time and functions, may be used for the analysis of user habits, and will not be used for the analysis of particular users.
Sharing data with a third party
Should judicial authorities request information regarding a specific individual, with the premise that the privacy of the individual is protected, the data may be shared in the interest of public safety. NPA will not sell, lease or exchange user’s information with any groups or individuals without prior permission.
